Quick breakfast

A friend just emailed this one to me and I had to share.

ZIPLOC OMELETS
This works great !!! Good when you're alone or when all your family is together. Best feature is that no one has to wait for their special omelet !!!
Have guests write their name on a quart-size Ziploc freezer bag with permanent marker.
- Crack 2 eggs ( large or extra-large) into the quart size Ziploc bag (not more than 2 ) shake to combine them.
- Put out a variety of ingredients such as: cheeses, ham, onion, green pepper, tomato, hash browns, salsa, etc.
- Each guest adds prepared ingredients of choice to their bag and shake. - Make sure to get the air out of the bag and zip it up.
- Place the bags into rolling, boiling water for exactly 13 minutes. You can usually cook 6-8 omelets in a large pot. For more, make another pot of boiling water.
- Open the bags and the omelet will roll out easily. Be prepared for everyone to be amazed.
- Nice to serve with fresh fruit and coffee cake; everyone gets involved in the process and a great conversation piece .

Imagine having these ready the night before, and putting the bag in boiling water while you get ready. And in 13 minutes, you have a nice omelet for a quick breakfast !!!

Let me introduce -

My friend, Trombone Tim. This is one of his gigs - Power of 10. Hope you enjoy.

OK, so I don't know why this isn't showing up but if you click on the giant space to the left of this writing it will take you to the live footage of the band.

And finally . . .

Just as we were ready to leave, I realized that I locked my keys in my car. Yea. We were in the middle of NOWHERE, and out of habit from living in the Cities, I locked my car. This random guy that came to let me in only charged me $10 and was a classmate of Cindy's in high school (Cindy's in yellow). OF COURSE! These are shots of us wastin' time whilst we wait to get the car unlocked. Good grief, Charlie Brown.

How many pictures later?
And this isn't even the end of the trip! We still hve the county fair to go! There weren't many photos there though, you'll be relieved to know. These were all just so wonderful that I had to share. But it is now time to go home. yea! Praise the Lord for the weekend. I'm headed home for a bit and then off to Chris's for a campfire and SMORES!

Just a swingin'

There really is nothing in life like good friends, a nice breeze and a hammock!

See what you missed?

Man are they strong!

We just couldn't resist these shots! Remember that I'm now an offical photo maniac. You asked for it! Did I mention that I took over 500 in 3 days when we went to the cabin in late June? Yea, well this roadrip was only one day. I'm a maniac, I tell you, I freakin' maniac!

Down on the farm

Stop and Smell the Flowers

I am not a ham at all . . .

Saturday was a roadtrip to Willmar, MN. We stopped along the way in Darwin to see the World's Largest Ball of Twine collected by 1 person and the Twine Fest. The previous pictures are from that. Then we went to a house outside of Prinsberg to see an amazing garden. That's where all of these photos came from. The dog is "Gussy" and you'll be happy to know that the guys found a baseball field through the corn field. (Just kidding!)

More picture fun

Pictures!

We had a cookout at my friend, Joy's place. Great back yard with a firepit. We baked pizza pies for supper, played a little Bocce Ball (which is great fun!) and then made smores. AAAHHH, life doesn't get much better than smores over an open fire with friends.

A Charm

Third time's a charm, right?

No idea what I might say here, just trying to update something on the sidebar, you know, take off my blog friends that haven't blogged since March. They are no longer worthy of being mentioned in this space. This will not hurt their feelings (or feelers as Ruby would say) since they never venture into the blog world anymore anyway.

Wonder if this will work?

Picture time

I cannot believe that I haven't posted any pictures since July 4th.

Time to catch up!

Dang it! My flash drive is in my other purse.

Another day.

Time's up!

That's right, ladies and gentlemen, I'm up to my ears in silence on my blog and it must end.

Time's up for a lot of things - here's my list.

Still don't have a job, am going for professional help now. Time's up there to quit wasting time.

Singles group leadership has changed hands and I'm not longer in that position. It's good for me and a bit stretching to no longer be in charge and still be a part of the group. Time's up to move and grow.

My sister is on a role with interviews. Time's up for her job drought.

The Pity Party is over. I'm eating better (well, at least stopping when I'm full for starters and not starting before I'm hungry), taking more pride in my appearance and drinking more water and less pop. (should I mention that I have 3 2-liters in my car - they're for an event, I swear!) Time's up, tired of watching part of my world go by.

Time's up to quit stalling and really dive in to this tough Bible study I'm in now. Can't keep avoiding the demons (not really demons, but little devils at the very least).

My blogs are always different when I'm finished than when I started.

Right now I'm listening to a friend talk about to her sister. It's interesting. What is the most fun for me is that she is talking a bit about something that she learned from me. That's pretty cool. I love how God uses us, ya know.

I had more Time's Up, but I have drawn a blank. Being drawn into the one-sided phone conversation that is going on behind me. Terribly funny.

Gotta give up the puter now.

Gosh, it's good to be back.

Didn't you miss me?!

nada

yea, nothing there.

bummer.

time

It's been far too long. My internet time at work has been restricted but we're breaking that rule for a moment or two while I take care of all of this blogging.

First I need to say this: I had onion rings for lunch and they were YUMMY! However, I now have onion breath. icky.

Now, moving along. Job - waiting, my name is in the ring for 4 from IN, IA, KS and FL.

ooooooooooooo, super excited about this weekend's adventure. Tomorrow night I'm scrapping - yippee! Then, Sat some of us are heading out west to Darwin, MN to the Twine Fest to see the World's Largest Ball of Twine collected by one person. I've already been to the World's Largest Ball of Twine that is in KS, even got to add some twine myself. Too bad that was prior to my digital days or I'd add a shot here of all the fun.

Anyway, we'll be seeing all the sites along the way and ending up in Willmar MN, hometown of my friend Deb.

I know, who could ask for more fun?

I realize this is terribly short, but I'm antsy to hear about a job today and must check my email and voice mail for the umpteenth time today to see if there is anything there.
